FundMore products and customer data

FundMore provides technology and services to mortgage lenders, banks, and other organizations.

When FundMore processes information through its products or services on behalf of a customer, that processing is generally governed by FundMore's agreement with the customer, including any applicable data-processing terms. The customer may be responsible for determining why and how personal information is processed and for providing required notices to affected individuals.

A login link on our public website may direct you to a separate FundMore product or customer environment. Additional privacy terms may apply in that environment.

Do not submit borrower information through the public website

The public website, demo forms, chat functions, and recruitment forms are not intended for mortgage applications, borrower documents, credit reports, identification documents, financial account information, or other confidential loan information.

Please do not submit borrower information or upload mortgage documents through a general website form or chat. Customers should use only the secure channels identified in their FundMore agreements and product documentation.

FundMore does not use public-website information to make solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects on individuals.

5. Legal Grounds for Processing

Our authority to process personal information depends on the applicable law and the circumstances.

In Canada, we obtain consent where required and may rely on other authority permitted by applicable privacy law.

Where European Economic Area or United Kingdom privacy laws apply, we may rely on one or more of the following legal bases:

  • your consent;
  • steps requested by you before entering into a contract;
  • performance of a contract;
  • compliance with a legal obligation;
  • protection of vital interests in unusual circumstances; or
  • our legitimate interests, such as operating and securing the website, responding to business inquiries, managing business relationships, preventing fraud, and improving our services, where those interests are not overridden by your rights and interests.

Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time, subject to legal and contractual restrictions. Withdrawal does not affect processing that occurred lawfully before withdrawal.

6. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We may use cookies, pixels, local storage, software-development tools, and similar technologies. These technologies may include the following.

Necessary technologies

Necessary technologies are used to operate and secure the website, remember privacy choices, enable authentication, balance website traffic, and provide functions requested by you. These technologies cannot generally be disabled through our website without affecting its operation.

Preference technologies

Preference technologies remember choices such as language, region, or other website settings.

Analytics technologies

Analytics technologies help us understand how visitors use the website, identify errors, measure traffic, and improve performance.

Advertising technologies

Advertising technologies may be used to measure campaigns, limit repeated advertisements, build audiences, or deliver advertising that may be more relevant to professional or business interests.

Where consent is legally required, FundMore will not activate non-essential analytics or advertising technologies until the required consent has been obtained.

You may accept, reject, or manage non-essential technologies through the Cookie Settings link available on the website. The Cookie Settings interface may provide the current list of technologies and providers, their purposes, and their applicable durations.

Browser settings may also allow you to block or delete cookies, although doing so may affect website functionality.

Where required by applicable United States law, we honour legally recognized opt-out preference signals, including the Global Privacy Control signal.

7. Marketing Communications

We may send marketing communications where permitted by applicable law, including where you have consented or where another legally recognized basis applies.

You may unsubscribe from marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link in the message or by contacting us. We may retain limited information on a suppression list so that we can honour your opt-out request.

Opting out of marketing does not prevent us from sending service, security, transactional, or other non-promotional communications.

Consent to receive marketing is not required to submit a demo request unless the marketing communication is necessary to provide the requested service.

9. Sale, Sharing, and Targeted Advertising

FundMore does not sell personal information for monetary consideration.

Some analytics or advertising technologies may disclose online identifiers, device information, and website activity to third parties. Certain United States privacy laws may define these disclosures as a "sale," "sharing," or processing for "targeted advertising," even where no money is exchanged.

Where applicable, you may opt out using the Your Privacy Choices or Cookie Settings link on our website.

FundMore does not knowingly sell or share the personal information of individuals under 18.

10. International Processing and Transfers

FundMore is based in Canada and serves organizations in Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, Europe, Australia, and other locations.

Privacy and government-access laws in another country may differ from those in your home jurisdiction. FundMore takes steps intended to ensure that international transfers comply with applicable law.

Generally:

  • demo and business inquiry information is retained while we respond to the inquiry and for a reasonable period associated with the resulting business relationship;
  • marketing information is retained until you opt out or it is no longer needed, with limited suppression information retained to honour an opt-out;
  • cookie and website analytics information is retained for the periods identified in Cookie Settings;
  • security records are retained for a period appropriate to investigate threats and protect our systems; and
  • applicant information is retained for the recruitment process and for a reasonable period afterward to administer hiring, consider future roles where legally permitted, respond to claims, and satisfy legal obligations.

We delete, anonymize, or securely isolate information when it is no longer required, subject to backup, legal-hold, and technical limitations.

12. Security

FundMore uses administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, use, disclosure, alteration, loss, or destruction.

The safeguards applied depend on the nature and sensitivity of the information and may include:

  • access controls;

  • is subject to legal privilege;
  • must be retained by law;
